Colorado Concrete Day 2022

Our celebration of concrete pavement continues throughout the year, and we joined with our partners from the Colorado Ready Mixed Concrete Association (CRMCA) and the American Concrete Pipe Association (ACPA) in late April to celebrate Concrete Day in Colorado.

Governor Jared Polis proclaimed April 29, 2022 as Concrete Day and said “Concrete is a part of so many things we build. The concrete industry is an important contributor to Colorado’s infrastructure, economy, and future. The Polis Administration recognizes the thousands of employees that are making a difference in our state!”

Before the wind blew us all inside, we were able to serve a BBQ lunch on the lawn to many of the legislators, legislative staff, and Capitol staff to thank them for all their work throughout the legislative session.  Happy Concrete Day!
