Certification classes are typically offered monthly each winter, November through March. Registration is available on the Event Registration page.

Classes are held in the Certification Center at CDOT’s North Holly location.

The class covers a range of topics and is intended to be a review and discussion to reinforce the knowledge attendees bring to the class.  View the Agenda here.

The class is based on the requirements in CDOT’s Construction Specifications, and this handout provides reference material that will assist in your preparation for the class.

Additional resources to assist in preparing for the class are available from the National Concrete Pavement Technology Center (CP Tech Center) and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA).

FHWA has produced a video series entitled Concrete Clips that provide 5-15 minute segments of information on a wide variety of concrete topics.

The CP Tech Center also has a series of webinars on Concrete Pavement Best Practices and a Concrete Pavement Inspector’s Workshop.
